We’ve read and analyzed literally hundreds of literary journals (last count: over 500!), from AGNI to ZYZZYVA.
We know which journals prefer straightforward prose and topical subject matter, and which ones prefer formal experimentation or downright weirdness. We know which ones prefer humor, and which ones prefer something darker. We know which ones are nearly impenetrable (The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Harper’s, etc.), and which ones are more accessible (many journals accept over 20% of submissions).
