We recommend sending any one piece to between ten and twenty journals. Needless to say: the more journals we target, the better your chances!
With all packages, we offer—and strongly recommend—our optional editing services, but we're happy to submit your story as-is (with only formatting and light copyediting).
Prices below include journal submission fees, which are set by journals and typically range from $0 to $5 per journal; we currently charge $2/journal. We also charge a small reading fee for work over 3,500 words (see below).

Some (not-so-)fine print:

To cover our reading time, stories longer than 3,500 words will include an additional reading fee of $35/1,000 words (over 3,500). The reading fee is waived when editing is added to any of our services.
