JOURNALS LIST ONLY
You're ready to submit on your own ... but where?
Our Journals List Only package is perfect for writers who want to submit on their own but would like to harness the power of Submitit’s algorithm. We'll send you a list of 30 high-match literary journals in two rounds of 15, with the goal of submitting to (at least) 20 of them. Here’s what you get:
JOURNALS LIST ONLY
$150
-
Analysis of one story or essay, up to three flash titles, or up to five poems
-
Light typo corrections*
-
Story formatting (optional)
-
List of 15 top-tier or mid-tier journals (goal: submit to at least 10)
-
List of 15 accessible journals (delayed, usually 4 months; again, the goal is to submit to at least 10 of them)
Our submission services are 100% guaranteed. If, within 30 days of signing up, you’re not satisfied, let us know, and we'll issue a full refund (editing not included).
Some (not-so-)fine print:
-
To cover our reading time, prose over 3,500 words will include a reading fee of $35/1,000 words (over 3,500), and poems over one page will include a reading fee of $3/page (over one page). The reading fee is waived when editing is added to any of our services.
-
Assuming timely submissions (after we provide the list of journals), we guarantee at least 20 journals will be open for submissions (10 journals per round). In the unlikely event that you don’t manage 20 total submissions, we’ll provide additional journals.
-
For multi-title submissions (flash and poetry), does order matter? Short answer: yes. Generally speaking, putting your stronger and shorter pieces first will give you more submission opportunities. You can read much more about this here.

*By "light typo corrections," we mean that if, while reading, we see obvious typos (a misspelled word, an egregious comma, etc.), we will, within reason, make corrections. This is absolutely, positively not a substitute for official copy editing. We primarily read to score work for the algorithm.
