We've had a couple new acceptances in the last week....
First, congrats to Erin Rose Belair, whose story "Baby Calls It Home" was accepted by Green Hills Literary Lantern (an 80% match). I talked about this wonderful story in a past post, and I'm really happy we got it placed. It deserves to be read. Erin Rose Belair received her MFA at Boise State University, where she wrote her first collection of short stories, Vinegar. Stories from this collection have won awards and been published with Glimmer Train, Narrative, Greensboro Review, Juked, and more. She just finished her first novel, The Only Road Home. She lives and writes in Laguna Beach, California. You can learn more about Erin at www.erinrosebelair.com.
Also, congrats to Jane VanCantfort, whose story "Morning" was accepted by Fiction on the Web (an 84% match). This is a beautiful and subtle story, with a title that means more than one thing (I'd say, three things). Jane VanCantfort has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco. She has published short stories in a variety of magazines, and her novel, Went Away, is available on Amazon. She lives in the Sierra Foothills with her husband and pets. You can learn more about Jane at www.janevancantfort.com.
I'm really happy for you guys. Great work!
