I feel like my blog is getting boring with congratulations, but I'm so happy to be helping writers find homes for their work. For current Submitit clients still hoping to get a story published with us, stay confident—the algorithm seems to be working. For those thinking about using Submitit for the first time, well, ditto.
First, congrats to John Van Wagner, whose story "Fadeout" was accepted by Potato Soup Journal (an 86% match)—a great story about a troubled man looking for redemption from an unusual source. This is John's first (and I believe far from last) major publication.
Also, congrats to TD Storm, whose wonderful and wonderfully strange story "The Hide-Behind" was accepted by Fiction on the Web (87% match). TD Storm is a teacher/editor/writer, living in Madison, Wisconsin. He has an MFA in Writing from Pacific University, and his work has appeared in a number of journals and anthologies, including Black Warrior Review, Copper Nickel, Jellyfish Review, and Literary Hub.
Great work guys!
